To be able to speak or write in the chosen foreign language or another Mother Tongue language (except the student’s own MT language).
Applicant is to submit the results (min. Secondary Two) with the Overall Mark & Grade of 60 marks (regardless of the stream) of the foreign language learnt or the completion of the Conversational Mother Tongue (CMT) Programme at school level.
Supporting Documents for Badge Applications:
Cadets who scored at least 60% for the relevant foreign language subject at Secondary 2 would qualify for the badge. Schools are to submit the end of year overall results slips as supporting evidence.
For schools who only offer the relevant subject in Secondary 1, the end of year overall results slips for Sec 1 can be submitted instead.
