CRIME PREVENTION (CRP/106)

Objectives:

The Crime Prevention Proficiency Badge Scheme was devised to promote crime prevention awareness among students. Through structured activities and experiential learning, the scheme aims not only to pique students’ curiosity in crime prevention, but instill a knowledge of crime prevention skills that not only minimises the risk of they becoming victims of crime, but allow them to act as ambassadors of crime prevention to their peers, thus spreading the word of crime prevention.

Badge Guidelines:

To complete the Crime Prevention Proficiency Badge programme, provided by the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC).

Refer to https://www.ncpc.org.sg/cppb/ and access the resources under Crime Prevention Proficiency Badge Test for 13 - 18 years old.

Action required from Schools / Districts:

Attach individual completed score card with teacher-in-charge's signature as part of badge application via the St John Portal.
