The Cybercrime Prevention Programme aims to:

• Help cadets understand the basic laws on cybercrime, cyber hygiene tips and cybercrime trends in Singapore, particularly those commonly associated with youths

• Emphasise the importance of staying on the right side of the law

• To train cadets to be cybercrime ambassadors and help raise awareness amongst family and friends

The following topics will be covered during the programme:

• What is Cybercrime?

• Legislation & Case Examples

• Cybersecurity Tips

• Cybercrime Trends in Singapore (Including current online scam trends)

• Additional resources for cadets

To attain this badge, cadets are required the following:

• Attend the cybercrime prevention webinar conducted by UG trainers

• Pass a cybercrime quiz set by SPF; and

• Carry out one crime prevention ambassadorial school activity determined by the schools (e.g. creating presentation slides to share with juniors, sharing cyber hygiene tips with family/neighbours, creating posters/infographics for display)
