This is a new badge which will be introduced to the CPB scheme and added to the CPB module of the St John Portal by end of Q2 2025. More details will also be released at a later date.
The Cybercrime Prevention Programme aims to:
Help cadets understand the basic laws on cybercrime, cyber hygiene tips and cybercrime trends in Singapore, particularly those commonly associated with youths
Emphasise the importance of staying on the right side of the law
To train cadets to be cybercrime ambassadors and help raise awareness amongst family and friends
The following topics will be covered during the programme:
What is Cybercrime?
Legislation & Case Examples
Cybersecurity Tips
Cybercrime Trends in Singapore (Including current online scam trends)
Additional resources for cadets
To attain this badge, cadets are required the following:
Attend the cybercrime prevention webinar conducted by UG trainers
Pass a cybercrime quiz set by SPF; and
Carry out one crime prevention ambassadorial school activity determined by the schools (e.g. creating presentation slides to share with juniors, sharing cyber hygiene tips with family/neighbours, creating posters/infographics for display)
